Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson shared his sentiments about his fellow presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo, he said he was “never” late for their meetings and the vice president was late several times.
In a tweet on Friday, January 14, 2022, Lacson shared the qualities of a leader the country needs.
“The leader we need must be super anti: anti-corruption; anti-incompetence; anti-indolence; anti-dishonesty; anti-entitlement; anti-arrogance; anti-greed; anti-tardiness-because good, genuine public service deserves a break,” Sen. Lacson said.
A Twitter account retweeted what Lacson said, according to the tweet, “Thanks for this, @iampinglacson. along with your other tweets similar to this, I reckon you are actually referring to @lenirobredo as the leader we need. I fully agree. ”
Sen. Lacson, on the other hand, responded to the tweet.
“I’m sorry. I said, anti-incompetence and anti-tardiness-among others,” said Sen. Lacson.
“I was NEVER late in my meetings with her. She was, a couple of times,” Sen. Lacson emphasized, referring to Robredo who was several times late for their meeting.
Meanwhile, VP Robredo has not yet made a statement about Sen. Lacson’s tweet.
Senator Ping Lacson will run as president in 2022. He is also Senate president and vice presidential candidate Vicente Sotto III.
